Barong Dance
Tourists have existed as familiar with Batubulan owing to its handicrafts, particularly its sandstone statues. It is seen from the Batubulan Road. Built on an artistic blessing dance of the barong (Barong and Keris dance), Batubulan’s identity and reputation as an art town have made it famous in Indonesia and around the world.

It consists of multiple buildings, with the kitchen located in the south and the offering room in the east. The parent’s room is often located in the west building, while the children’s rooms or the offering area are located in the north building. On the other hand, the Hindus in Bali constructed a family temple in the northeast, where people offer prayers on a daily basis. Monkey forests, known as Wanara Wana in Balinese, are dispersed around the island, with the Ubud Monkey Forest serving a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of the monkey population in Bali. In the meantime, the locals play a crucial role in maintaining the forest’s natural state so that all wild species can live in harmony.
