The most popular tourist destination in Bali’s central mountains is the Kintamani Volcano. Mount Batur’s crater, which is estimated to be 13 square kilometers in size, is the main attraction of the area because of the breathtaking views of its caldera and the beauty of Lake Batur, which fills a large portion of the caldera. The primary reason to visit this location is the view. Encircled by Mount Batur’s alluring scenery, there are many more reasons to stay in the crater itself. Don’t forget to enjoy the delightfully winding road that runs alongside the lake to Toya Bungkah, Pura Ulan Danu Batur, and even the hot springs.

Barong and Keris Dance in Batubulan Village

Nowadays, Batubulan village is one of the famous tourist attractions in Bali in light of its stone carvings and barong performance. Denpasar is roughly 8 kilometers away. Tourists have existed as familiar with Batubulan owing to its handicrafts, particularly its sandstone statues. It is seen from the Batubulan Road. Built on an artistic blessing dance of the barong (Barong and Keris dance), Batubulan’s identity and reputation as an art town have made it famous in Indonesia and around the world. In this rural area, there are five distinct locations where barong dance performances take place every day: Puseh Temple Stage, Tegal Tamu Stage, Denjalan Stage, Sahadewa Stage, and Sila Budaya Stage.

Visit Kintamani  Volcano View  & Batur Hotspring

This crater lake and Mount Batur, which is situated inside a sizable volcanic caldera, are magnificently viewed from Kintamani Volcano. Standing by the roadside in the village, you can see Batur’s rough features, which include black molten rocks and dark lava slopes. The lake’s blue-green hue and the verdant surroundings create a striking contrast. Climbing Mount Batur is a popular activity in Kintamani. On early morning treks, you can watch the sunrise from the ridges of this volcano in Bali. Perched above, you can take in the view of the expansive and stunning Batur caldera to the northwest.

Asaid of the view of Mt. Batur volcano dip the body in the warm pool overlooking the lake Try getting a ‘warm hug’ from Batur Natural Hotspring. Batur Natural Hotspring provides a natural bathing environment with warm water. The pool’s water temperature ranges from 40 to 45°C. It originates from the Batur mountain aquifer. The temperature can rise to 50°C from its point of origin.

The pools are made of stone materials. Its neat design emphasizes its natural feel. The Batur Hotspring setting differs slightly from that of a Japanese onsen. There are also no strict rules or manners like in Japanese onsens. Guests are therefore permitted to wear a shirt or swimsuit.

Tirta Empul Temple

Tirta Empul is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu God of Waters.  The temple contains several holy springs that are said to have been created by the God Indra and are thought to be blessed water that can cleanse those who bathe there.

Tirta Empul was founded in 926 A.D. and is still actively used today. Tirta Empul is a large temple complex that takes at least 30 minutes to an hour to explore. Before entering the premises, you must wear a sarong, just as you would at any other temple or sacred site on the island. Sarongs are available at the temple’s entrance and can be rented for a small donation.

Gunung Kawi temple

Gunung Kawi Temple is a complex of beautiful temples nestled in a river valley surrounded by rice fields and forests. This has been one of our favorite day trips for many years.

This Temple is a group of ten temples designed to resemble the temple front and to provide a home for the souls of ancient kings. The temple is carved into the valley walls on either side of the Pekerisan River. Gunung Kawi Temple has an interesting history. The inscriptions on each temple approximate the date of construction as C. 11. It is believed that each temple served as a warning for deified royalties, primarily because they were shaped like burial towers, such as this temple, found throughout Central Java. However, in Java, they are freestanding, whereas those found on Mount Kawi are carved in solid rock relief.

Ubud Art Market

The Ubud Art Market is one of Bali’s most popular markets. Ubud Art Market is open from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visiting early in the day allows you to explore the market while it is less crowded, resulting in a more relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience. However, some stalls remain open late into the evening.

Balinese handicrafts and imported souvenirs will catch your eye at every turn, from intricate jewelry to vibrant sarongs. Hanging displays of hand-woven bags, delicate dream catchers, and bamboo straws provide insight into the sustainable practices of local artisans.

The selection of homeware will astound you, with sleek wooden plates and boho pillow covers begging to be touched. The market also sells a wide range of clothing, including dresses, shirts, and the well-known backpacker elephant pants.

The Ubud Art Market, also known as Pasar Seni Ubud, is located in the heart of Ubud, a lush town in central Bali. The market entrance is on Jl. Raya Ubud and the main market street is called Jl. Karna. You can also start on the opposite side, Jl. Dewisita.
